Invitation to teachers, parents, principals, and students who have – or want to develop – a school garden!

Come share and enhance your knowledge, ideas, best practices, contacts, sources, tips, curricular materials, etc.

Free, helpful print and audio-visual resources will be given out to support you in planning, designing, funding, constructing and utilizing your school gardens.

The workshop will also help identify current and future support needs for schools developing gardens, and create an Edible School Grounds Network for ongoing communications and mutual support.

The workshop will be facilitated by Jennie Barron, lead parent organizer of Central School’s gardens and green space, and Louise Poole, Healthy Schools Coordinator for SD #8.
